Eleven Facts About Me

I was born in February during a snowstorm at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem.

When I was a little girl I wanted to be an astronaut and travel through space.

I love to share stories about my adventures as a kid and the moments that left a lasting impression on my life.

Spending days all by myself, learning everything I can about an interesting topic, brings me happiness.

Solving problems brings me joy, so when someone suggests that something can’t be done I instinctively want to find the solution.

My dreams are so unusual and interesting that I love going to sleep so that I can wake up in the morning, write them down, and reflect on their meaning.

Before I started my career as a classroom teacher I was an art teacher.

Providing help to someone or something that needs it makes me feel useful and good inside.

I make the most delicious chocolate fudge because a former student gave me his grandfather’s recipe as a gift.

The Outer Banks in North Carolina is one of my favorite places to spend time relaxing.

Riding my bike is one of my favorite ways of getting exercise, and I wish I lived in a city where I could safely ride my bike wherever I wanted to go.
